Here are some criteria to keep in mind when writing your instructional poster.
1. Your poster should include a title and step by step instructions for other students to use.
2. The font should be consistent and easy to read.
3. Use images to support the text if possible.
4. Use simple and straight forward language so that it is easy to read and follow along with.
5. Have a friend try out your instructions to see if you are missing anything.
Once you and your tech buddy are finished creating the instructional poster you will present your topic to the class. Your job is to teach the rest of the new students how to complete your skill on their own computers. You can present your poster, and also demonstrate the skill on the SMART board for the new students to practice. Once you have demonstrated your skills, have an activity for your classmates to try out on their own computers.
