Expectations:

• Homework will be given almost every night. Unless noted otherwise, all assignments will be due the following morning at the start of math class (8:30).
  
  
• In order for homework to be counted as complete, it must be neat, have all problems attempted, and have all work shown. Homework should also follow the format shown below.
  
  
• Any incomplete assignments (this includes being sloppy, not showing all work, or not completing/attempting all problems) will result in spending recess in the work room. All incomplete assignments must be re-submitted the following day.
  
  
• Each day, homework will be assigned one of the following grades:
  • √+ (all problems have been attempted, all work is shown, assignment is neat and follows the proper format)
  • √ (all problems have been attempted, most work is shown, assignment follows the proper format, assignment is legible)
  • √- (assignment is incomplete, sloppy, does not show work, and/or does not follow the proper format)
    
    
• Each assignment will be given one of the following point values, which will be averaged and factored into the quarterly math grade:
  • √+ (4 points)
  • √ (2 points)
  • √- (0 points)
    
    
• Any assignments that are missed due to absence are expected to be made up. These assignments will be due on the date agreed upon by Amanda and the absent student.
