About the story |
Jamie is 12 years old and living on a Texas military base in 1969. Her father is the base commander and her brother, TJ, has just enlisted in the Army during this countries involvement in the Vietnam War. After her brother is sent 'in country' he begins to send Jamie rolls of film that need to be developed. He confuses her by taking alot of pictures of the moon. What role will the moon play in the conculsion of Jamie and TJ's tale. |
My opinion |
An interesting look at the Vietnam War from a sibling's perspective. Jamie tells a very well written story. I really think all my friends should read this book. |
