Wow this was a great story! The reader was given a lot of insight into the life of a sibling of someone with autism. I think my friends should read this book. |

About the story |
11-year-old Tess lives on an island off the coast of Maine. Her father is a lobster fisherman and her mother is the teacher at the island school. After a family with 5 children moves off the island, the state threatens to shut down the island school because of low enrollment. In order to boost enrollment several families on the island take in foster children. When a 13-year-old boy moves in with Tess's family, everyone needs to figure out how to relate and make Aaron feel welcome. |
