About the story |
Ender is a genius 6-year-old who is recruited by the government for battle school. The government hopes he will be able to defeat earth's enemy, aliens known as 'buggers'. Ender's training consists of learning game strategies for space battles. Although Ender wins all the battle games he plays, will he e able to save the world as humans know it? |
My opinion |
The story is told so the reader can experience it through the mind of the characters. The reader is subjected to Ender's internal conflict along with the external pressures he faces. Although the setting is futuristic, the conflicts and inner turmoil are current issues. I thought this was a really good story and I would recommend it to my friends. This was also a really awesome book on CD. |
