About the story |
Hollis Woods, age 12, is used to being passed from foster home to foster home - usually because she runs away. Hollis uses her pictures (she is a talented artist) to tell her story. She spends the summer with the Regan family and begins to become detatched, but runs away when she feels at fault for an accident. She then is placed with an eccentric artist who is having trouble with her memory. What will happen to Hollis when youth services finds out about Josie's memory? Will she ever be able to go back to the Reagan family? |

This story has really strong characters and wonderful insights into Hollis' self discovery. I would tell my friends to read this book. |
