About the story

J. J. Liddy, 15, comes from a long line of Irish musician. The people in his village find that time keeps going by faster and faster. When his mother asks for more time for her birthday, J.J. tries to find it for her. While on his quest, he enters the land of eternal youth where the "fairies" live. While there he uncovers some information about his family's past and discovers where time has been leaking between the worlds

My opinion

This was a great 'fairy' tale. It has a nice blend of Irish folklore, culture and modern times. The book contains the music for Irish tunes at the end of each chapter and the CD plays the music, a wonderful segue between chapters. I think my friends would enjoy reading this book.
