About the story |
Max is looking forward to a family vacation in Italy; however, his parents are archaeologists and change the plan. They will go to Central America to study the Maya and Max will stay home. Once again Max's plans are changed. His parents are missing and he's going to San Xavier to look for them. Now let the adventure begin. Max's parents are trapped in the Maya Underworld and it takes Max his new friend Lola and the spirits of an ancient Maya ruler to attempt a rescue. Will they succeed and what price will Max have to pay to get them back? |

My opinion |
Another wild ride, this time through Spain, with hell hounds, a town where people can't lie and the flowers are all yellow, an ancient ancestor and a punk band. Both books are incredibly fun reads! |
