1. Definitions - What's the difference?

There are several definitions for immigrate. Write all of the definitions. Be sure to include the parts of speech. There is one definition for emigrate. Write that definition and the part of speech.

2. Sentences:

Next, write one sentence for each definition for immigrate and one sentence for the definition of emigrate. Be sure to make up your own sentences, don't use the examples that you find in a dictionary.

3. Synonyms

List at least three synonyms for immigrate and at least three synonyms for emigrate.

3. Spelling Test:

Be ready for a test at the end of the week. Be sure that you know the meanings of immigrate and emigrate.

4. Turn in your work by Friday. Your packet should include your definitions, sentences, synonyms, and spelling test.
