CLC Board Meeting 2/25/99

Several Topics were moved to the parent meeting that takes place prior to the board meeting.

Topics discussed at parent meeting:

• Expanding school
  
• Proposal for expansion to be submitted to SCASD
  
• Relocating school
  
• Assessment system
  
• After school activities
  
• Possible Philadelphia Trip
  

• Reviewed year-to-date budget.
  
• In order to pay new hires, we moved money from several categories.
  
• Our finances are good with no problems on the horizon.
  

• Discussed a more efficient way to communicate with parents.
  
• Will continue to send home newsletter as opposed to just posting to the net.
  
• Next year, parents will be required to communicate with school electronically.
  
• CLC will help families pay for the connection when necessary.
  
• Question of whether or not you can dial directly into the school’s server. This is not possible.
  

• We will continue to pursue expansion by two classes.
  
• Possible locations for school were discussed.
  
• We will contract with a relator in order to identify possible new locations.
