Class Expectations |
|
When you are in Amanda's math class, every morning from 8:30-9:30, the following will be expected of you:
- Come prepared to class every day.
*this means that you have your pencil, homework, math book, math folder, and any other necessary materials.
- Be on time.
*this means you are in your assigned seat, with your homework out, and beginning your math challenge at 8:30.
- Be respectful of the other members of the class.
*There is no such thing as a silly question. We are a team, and it is important for everybody on the team to understand what we are doing.
- All homework must be completed neatly and on time. All work must be shown.
*If homework is sloppy or work is not shown, it will be considered incomplete and must be redone.
- 1,2,3-Out
- Always try your best. If you do not understand something, ask for help!
- Weekly updates, quizzes, and tests must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned the following day.
- Be on task!
*Math class is time for math. It is not social hour. Conversation should be focused on math. When we are doing whole group instruction, side conversations and off-task/disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
This is a new year, which means a fresh start and a clean state! Let's get off on the right foot so that we can have an excellent year!!!

Tips for a Successful Year |

-Be sure to ask questions if you are confused!
